Dear Dr. Bikman,

I wanted to thank you for the hard work and dedication you show in your teaching, research, and family. I was a student in your PDBIO 365 class about five or six years ago, and without a doubt it is in my top five list of all the classes I took in my four years at BYU. I loved the class because of what we learned, how we were pushed to think and connect the dots, all of the real-life applications, and because I knew you cared about each and every one of us. I thought it was amazing that you not only knew each of our names, but also were aware of many little details, like when we sat somewhere new, missed a class, or came in late. Sometimes those details would make us all laugh! I really enjoyed your teaching and the passion you had for what you taught us. Still to this day I enjoy my fats and whole milk! Thank you for a wonderful semester experience and for your example in the way you lived your life outside of the classroom as well. I hope things are going well for you.

You are my Hero!

Sincerely, Brooke
