Dear Mom,

You are my hero! A selfless nurse for over 35 years, my business partner for 17 years, and my beautiful mother.
You served as a military wife for 20 years and raised four children. That’s a full career for most, but you want to give more! In your 40s, when I was in high school, I clearly remember you working all day as a scrub nurse then coming home to study through nursing school.

You founded our company at 53 years old, as the only nurse, grew it to three states over 20 years while serving hundreds of thousands of home health and hospice patients. Our patients needed a nurse, but more than that, they needed genuine caring – a hand held, their feet rubbed, a generous listener. You taught me to lead with my heart as my business partner “Take care of patients and everything else will follow.” Naïve for most, but it grounds me to this day! My hero is a legendary nurse that served not only her country but her fellow human beings with love and kindness that knows no end.

You are my Hero!

Sincerely, Jim
