Dear Edie,

On August 29,1995, I received a phone call that would change my life forever. The caller said my daughter Donnah had been murdered. My grief was unmeasurable. I met you at a support group a few weeks later. For two years, you guided me through a path that would help me survive. We met weekly for over 2 years. You became my friend and my mentor. I would not be here if it wasn’t for you. You taught me how to get through life and how to appreciate the blessings I have.

You are my Hero!

Sara Jane
