Dear Ludmila,

In March of 2013, after my yearly breast mammogram, you sat with me in your office and clearly told me that my scans were hard to see and that the calcification’s in my breast were not getting better. You were so empathetic and said to me in a gentle manner, “If I were you, I would get an MRI and make sure there is nothing we are missing.” If it wasn’t for your honesty and careful examination of my scans, my breast cancer would have grown and it would have been a different scenario a year or months later.

From that day in March, you have been my angel. I have been cancer free since then and truly owe it to you for saving my life. Thank you Ludmila for taking care of me and I’m sure several other patients that you have saved.

You are my Hero!

Patti S.
