Dear Coach Maddi,

Thank you for teaching me so many valuable life lessons, all through gymnastics. You coached me on the bars, on the beam, on the vault, and on the floor. And you made me condition. Boy, did you make me condition.

But what you really taught me was how to believe in myself. How to be a competitor. How to be confident. And how to be strong.

You always believed in me and you helped me achieve my goals. I would not be the athlete or the person I am today without your commitment to me.

You are my Hero!

Lexi, age 16
